They Called Him Jesus!

Wings of the Dawn!

“Wings of the Dawn!” is a true story about two boys growing up and the adventures they encounter along the way. The story unfolds in Colorado’s eastern prairie and relates their heritage to the trails of distant paths. A message is presented on how the present has been molded by the past, not only from the bloodlines of generations past, but by the choices made by earlier generations.

Memories of boating, fishing, and skiing trips are relived with humorous anecdotes and touching depictions of life as special times are shared with family and friends. The importance of time together as a family is a central focus of the story as it depicts the bonds developed through outings and time together. “Contained within those days was a mystical magic that sprinkled our lives with the effervescence of love and tranquility.”

The final chapter begins with the family anxiously looking forward to the wedding of one of the younger cousins. The wedding activities highlight a message of hope as a young couple begins a new life together, even though a very special person struggles with a battle against cancer. This chapter contains a poignant and touching fact of life as the family finds hope, peace and strength through their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and their dependence on each other!
