“Child of Promise!”

Gaze out into the distance, as the waves lap at your feet,
The future is uncertain, yet the prospects, oh so sweet.
New life God freely gives us; we are children of the King,
No need to fret or worry, we are free to praise and sing!

Gaze out into the distance, as the waves come crashing in,
For Jesus is the answer, He will save us from our sin!
His life He freely offered, we must choose to seek His face,
He is our souls’ redemption, by God’s mercy and His grace!

Gaze out into the distance, and dream of distant lands,
Then follow God’s direction; rely on His strong Hand!
He will walk you through the Journey; guide each tiny stride,
If you listen to His calling, He will stay right by your side!

Gaze out into the distance, at the rough and stormy sea,
You’re a Child of God’s Promise; you are born of destiny!
Now scan the far horizon, as you search for dreams and more,
Then ask Jesus to walk beside you, along the peaceful shore!

Gaze out into the distance; lift your eyes to heaven above,
Accept His grace and mercy, then, feel His righteous love!
Set your eyes upon the Master, as you walk along life’s way,
He will guide you every moment, and bless you day to day!
