Lanny K. Cook

He is the middle child of three boys and spent his childhood enjoying the security and tranquility of a loving family. Clarice Cook
Clarice Darlene Williams was born to Bob and Gladys Williams during the end times of the great depression near Snyder, Colorado. The youngest of three children, she attended the Snyder Consolidated School system. It was her third grade teacher who encouraged her to rhyme words and then try her hand at poetry. This God given gift has blessed family, friends and church congregations for over 50 years. Clarice’s poetry has provided encouragement, strength, and hope throughout the years as she would share it at weddings, holidays, funerals, special events, and church services.
Clarice married Gordon S. Cook on May 4, 1952 and they have faithfully lived a life of service and commitment to their Lord Jesus Christ while serving the church in many capacities. They were blessed with four sons, Randy, Lanny, and Danny, whom are still living, and Gordon Lee who was taken to be with the Lord on the day of his birth.
Clarice’s formal education ended when she graduated from Snyder High School in 1952, but has spent a lifetime studying God’s Word and seeking His wisdom and guidance through life. She is an accomplished pianist and her love for music has always been an added blessing to family and friends.
